Branch Out invites college and high school students across the US to join our #getdissatisfied campaign and network of student-led chapters. Why dissatisfaction? Well, we believe that anyone who wants to enact positive change in their communities ought to feel a little of it: something that just doesn’t feel right or acceptable in the status quo and pushes them to reach out, teach out, and Branch Out.

Goals for student chapters are as follows:

• To encourage students to take ownership of their education
• To give students a voice in local, state, and national public education
• To cultivate student leaders who extend our goals of innovation in education across disciplines within the humanities, social sciences, and STEM
• To serve underserved students and their families nationwide and develop meaningful partnerships with regional schools, nonprofits, governments, and businesses
